THE GAME

H

It all started with an idea of excursion!!
Oops sorry, that’s the opening line of the film….
THEY SAY, "WHY SPEND YOUR PRECIOUS TIME SLEEPING, LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!"
But then, for me it all started in with a dream while SLEEPING……an amazing dream!
Have you ever heard a person seen a complete story in his dreams?
I did!!
Next morning, as I was narrating the story, the whole family jumped.
Ashoke said, “ Don’t waste time, just write it down.” I didn’t know how to start it…..so he took the initiative. Few paragraphs!! I didn’t quite like what he wrote, he actually drifted from the original story.
Since I am very good at pointing at other’s mistakes, I utilized this talent and started re-writing.
Once the first draft of the script was done we decided to turn it into a short film. Only a short film would do justice to the thrills of “THE GAME”.
Oh yes! That’s the name of my first short film!!
It was not very difficult to catch hold of the team of actors.....all are friends.
Don't really like to admit but my two young ladies are there too.
It is not only a dream come true but a great fun working with "youths"......well, that doesn't mean I am old.
Anyway, jokes apart, I would like to invite my team here, to put up their comments, write about their first ever experience of the rehearsals and shooting!!
I wish I could share the whole story of "THE GAME" but the film is half done.
So guys! U'll have to wait for a while to know the story, Sorry!!
Yet to build up your interest, I would just say, its thrilling.
Its about "FEAR".
Oh no no! Its not one of those scary movies!!
Its about 'What is fear?'
Its about, 'Is fear, real?'
OR
Is it 'almost like virtual reality?'
THINK!!
WILL MEET U ALL SOON.
TILL THEN, TAKE CARE AND
THINK!!

Ask abt the experince and i can only think of experimentation.Initially it was only reharsals. But lets see how the Day 1 of the shoot was.
Day 1
Now the D-day has come and all the actors were ready.Me (Sourabh)was the weak link among all bcos i never used to remember my lines and it was an uphill task for my dear Director to teach me and make me memorise my lines. But was fun.So i was in the office doing my late night shift and we were going to meet at 4in the morning to capture the sunrise..which was offcourse never done. Finally i reached @ 100 Bannu Enclave And so did others...Very punctual this time...anyways let me introduce my other teamates - Arijit Aks apna Sssharukh!!,Tinkle-the fearful lady and offcourse Mamma's gal,Sarika,Sourabh (Confused guy),Chotu-the lil sis ,Tanya,Amrita-The eldest lady .
So after introducing my team lets move with the day 1 now.
So once everybody reached we started to unwind ourself as the cab was not there yet.So Ashok da was incharge of it and he assured us that the cab and the driver will be here any moment. So finally after 15 mins the cabbie arrived.Wat a scene a big Innova car and equally huge cabbie a middle aged Sardar. Our offline villian. Will describe him later as he himself is a big storyline.
So finally at 5:30 our journey of filmaking began...Day 1 is yet not over, will continue...keep watching this space for more masala..

"The Game" is still under production and its really exciting.Dont really knw if this dream will ever be fulfilled but this whole movie experience made me realise that its very easy to dream but its very very difficult to make that dream into reality, and in real life too this gives us a lot of teachings that when ever we dream it should be backed by both creative and finanical backup or else its almost like a nightmare, though i was a weak link but i m very sad that things doesnt look as we all dreamt of .Most of the so called actors have moved on in their respective life but the passion still remains .Hope is always there that someday this dream of our dear director is fulfilled and we see this short film getting the audience.
Though i still have faith in my directors vision but the only problem i see is lack of time and financial help, now if this needs to be re done it needs a fresh cast and money to get it completed.I wish i had lot of money to support the film bcos i really felt that this story can have lot of potential in European markets as the concept is very intriguing and lot of intrest is generated in the narration .
